MOORE — Platt College in Moore, a post-secondary education provider in Oklahoma, has been recognized as a School of Excellence by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC).

In his letter notifying the campus of the honor, Executive Director Michale McComis, Ed.D., said Platt College-Moore campus was selected as a recipient of the 2012-2013 School of Excellence Award for its “commitment to the expectations and rigors of ACCSC accreditation, as well as efforts in maintaining high levels of achievement among students.”

To be eligible for the award, a school must meet all criteria for the Commission’s School of Distinction Award and a majority of its graduation and employment rates must meet or exceed ACCSC average graduation and employment rates.

As a School of Excellence, Platt College-Moore campus will be honored during the 2013 ACCSC Professional Development Conference being hosted Sept. 11-13 in Washington, D.C.
