Couple to celebrate 50th

MOORE — Danny and Jerri (Stephenson) Franks will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday.

The couple were introduced by a mutual friend and were married on March 30, 1963, in Danny’s parent’s home in Oklahoma City.

The couple have lived in Moore since 1966.

Danny has been retired since 1997 as a bearing shop supervisor at Tinker Air Force Base. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base from 1965 to 1997.

Jerri has been retired since 1994 as a personnel administrator at Tinker Air Force Base. She worked at Tinker Air Force Base from 1971 to 1994.

Danny enjoys golfing, playing poker and woodworking.

Jerri enjoys reading mystery and romance novels, scrapbooking and gardening.

They have three daughters, Toni Lusk (Davy) of Oklahoma City, Dodie Gray of Blanchard; and Dana Moyer (Marc) of Indianapolis.

They have five grandchildren, Eric Lusk-Allen, Courtney Lusk, Niki Burch, Wesley Gray and Brandon Moyer

They have four great-grandchildren, Beau, Axel, Salena and Sabrina.

A reception will be held in their honor on Saturday at the Moore Community Center.
