MOORE — The Moore Health Department and the SAFE Kids Coalition are partnering to provide car seats for those affected by the Moore tornadoes.
The event will be at 424 S. Eastern Ave. and will provide a free car seat check, with a limited number of car seats available for eligible families. The event will be from 9 a.m. noon Friday.
The car seats will be first-come, first-serve and participants must show FEMA paperwork and/or proof of state assistance through WIC, TANF, food stamps, etc. Individuals also must have the child present at the time of the event.
Trained car seat technicians will install the car seats at the time of the event to assure safety. Attending residents will fill out a car seat applications.
