MOORE — A Cleveland County jury on Feb. 7 found an Oklahoma City man guilty of disturbing a disaster area following May’s deadly tornado in Moore.
Harold Webb McCrary Jr., 44, was fined $2,000 on the misdemeanor charge.
He was accused of stealing a leather couch and two leather love seats from a home at 600 Heather Lane.
Witnesses reported seeing McCrary remove the items without the permission of the homeowner and place them in his truck. He reportedly sped from the area.
The case was prosecuted by Rachael Rogers, an assistant district attorney.
