Get educated on the Affordable Care Act in two-part library series

MOORE — The Affordable Care Act is here, and its arrival has brought on many questions. The Moore Public Library seeks to answer those with the first of a two-part program series titled “Affordable Care Act: Navigator Q&A,” at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 24, in Room A of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.

Steve Goldman, a certified navigator with the Oklahoma Primary Care Association, will present the programs. He will begin with a 25-minute presentation with general information about the Affordable Care Act, following by plenty of times for specifics during a question and answer session.

Participants in this program are encouraged to return to the library at 6:30 p.m. March 4, for a second program, “Enrolling in the Healthcare Marketplace,” where Goldman will help those who need to perform their actual enrollment in the Healthcare Marketplace.

Space is limited so registration is required in advance to attend either program.
