Library program provides lessons for car buyers

MOORE — Get on the road to the best car deal you can with a lesson in Smart Auto Shopping, a program provided at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Moore Public Library, room B, 225 S. Howard Ave.

The program is for ages 18 and older.

Program presenter Terri Talley of Allegiance Credit Union will give tips on making the best car purchase possible.

Among her topics will be negotiating the best deal, what time of year is best to buy, and more. Dinner will be provided for all program participants. 

The program originally was scheduled for September but was postponed due to a water line break at the library.

Library plans CD Mosaics workshop for teens

The Moore Public Library invites teens to a CD Mosaics craft workshop at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Room A of the library, 225 S. Howard Ave.

Participants will use recycled CDs to put together a mosaic mirror or frame to take home as a decoration.

Supplies will be provided by the library but are limited in number, so registration is required in advance to attend.
