MOORE — Aging Services Inc. recently announced its fourth annual Gingerbread House Competition and Silent Auction from 5-7 p.m. Dec. 7 at the Moore Public Library, 225 S. Howard Ave. The event is held in conjunction with the Moore Public Library’s Holiday Gala. Proceeds from the event will benefit Aging Services Inc.
The competition is open to the public and includes six categories: Professional, corporate, family, kit, adult and teen. Prize baskets will be awarded in each category along with a prize for the gingerbread house that is chosen as Best In Show.
Entries can be returned to their makers or can be sold in the silent auction that also is part of the event. The competition is held in partnership with Platt College’s Culinary Arts Program.
