The Orr Family Farm will host the second annual Daddy Daughter Dance and Mother Son Soiree, sponsored by Moore Public Schools Parent Teacher Association and Oklahoma Employees Credit Union. Children ages 4 to 14 are invited to attend.

The Daddy Daughter Dance is offered 4:30 to 6 p.m. and 7 to 8:30 p.m. Feb. 15 this year. The Mother Son Soiree is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. March 8. Both events are held in the Event Barn at the Orr Family Farm, 14400 S. Western Ave. in Oklahoma City.

“The Daddy Daughter Dance and Mother Son Soiree are terrific opportunities for parents and children to spend the evening together, having fun and creating memories,” said Shanain Kemp, event director at the Orr Family Farm. “We enjoy supporting our community and especially working to provide opportunities for children's entertainment, family-friendly opportunities and educational outreach.”

Both events have a western theme this year. Attire for the Daddy Daughter Dance will be church-appropriate clothing such as dresses for the girls and suits and ties for the dads. Attendees for the Mother Son Soiree are encouraged to wear cowboy hats, boots and western attire.

Entertainment for children and parents includes music from a live DJ and interactive dances. Light snacks and drinks will be available. A photo booth sponsored by the Oklahoma Employees Credit Union will be available from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Daddy Daughter Dance and the Mother Son Soiree.

Tickets are $12.50 each and must be purchased in advance. Tickets are limited to the first 250 sold per session. Tickets are available online at or by calling 799-3276. Proceeds will benefit Moore Public Schools Parent Teacher Association.
