The Sugar Free Allstars are well known around the library concert circuit, as regular performers in the Pioneer Library System and statewide during the Summer Reading Program.
But this year, they bring a little something extra to the show — the title of Grammy Award winners.
The award was for Best Children’s’ Album for an anti-bullying CD compilation titled “All About Bullies Big and Small.”
“We would play at festivals together, and one time we said ‘hey, why don’t you get up and freestyle with us,” said Chris Wiser, who along with Rob Martin make up the Allstars.
The band will perform twice at the Moore Public Library, at 2 and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19.
