MOORE — Louis Arambula, 80, passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, due to complications from diabetes and congestive heart failure.
He is survived by his wife, Jerry Arambula of Moore; his children, Bruce Arambula, Teshia Solomon, and Stefanie and Greg Brooks; his beloved grandchildren, Cody and Alison Brooks, Jessica and Coleman Scott and Zachary, Amalie, Evan, and Zane Arambula; and his blessed great-grandchildren, Leighton and Stetson Scott.
He leaves behind his siblings, Alfonso and Ralph Arambula and Mary Flores and many nieces and nephews.
Louis was an Oklahoma Golden Gloves State Champion, Featherweight Division boxer in his youth, and a veteran of the Korean War. He was an air traffic controller for 37 years, receiving commendations for his bravery during crisis; a skill which served him well as the Union Representative fighting for better wages and safer air travel.
He was an avid Wheel of Fortune watcher, crossword puzzle solver and lover of jazz music. Services were under the direction of Moore Funeral and Cremation, however there were no funeral service; a memorial will be announced for family and friends at a later date.
