Jolene was a very private person who enjoyed knitting, reading her Kindle and eating her husband’s cooking. She refused, however, to clean the kitchen. Friday night dinners with close friends of many years were very special, and she cherished being with her grandchildren during their many sports activities. OU men's basketball was another activity that she adored and often lunched with the “girls” from Moore schools administration. OU men's football she followed religiously and she had Bob Stoops’ number on speed dial to offer opinions on strategic personnel moves and plays.
Jolene was the most loving person to her husband and he will miss her more than he could ever express. She had rekindled his soul, brought joy to his heart and renewed his spirit.
Services will be 6 p.m. Friday at the Moore Funeral and Cremation chapel, 400 SE 19th St., in Moore, OK 73160.
She would be very pleased if monetary donations would be made in her memory to Second Chance Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 1266, Norman, OK 73070.
