MOORE — Diana Rae Perez, 44, of Moore, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 15, 2014. She was born Nov. 17, 1969, in Oklahoma City, to Patricia Baker-Council and John Walter Council.

Diana was a one-of-a-kind person and had an amazing personality. Her bright smile could light up a room and her laugh was contagious. Her absolute pride and joy was her family. Her purpose in life was to serve her boys, Caleb, Matthew and Zachary. She never missed any of their school events or parties and would often go to their schools just to have lunch with them or go on field trips with them. At any event Diana was at, so was her camera. She treasured the time she spent with her whole family and she wanted to capture every single memory.

Although Diana passed away at a young age, the imprint she left on the hearts of her husband, children, mother, siblings, nieces and nephews will last forever. We may not know all of the answers or why she left so suddenly, but we know that she is in Heaven with the Lord and with her father whom she missed so very much.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Walter Council.

Survivors include her loving husband and best friend, Mike Perez of the home; children Caleb, Matthew and Zachary, also of the home; mother, Pat Council; sister, Donna Council; brother, John Walter Council Jr.; nieces Melissa Warren and husband Corbin, Bailey Council and AudriAnne Council; nephews Christian Council and Brock Council; and great-nephew, Peirce Warren. She is also survived by a host of extended loving family and friends.

Diana will be remembered for the strength, hope and love that she showed the world. Although she was battling some things in her life, she never ever gave up. She saw each day as a gift and she lived life to the fullest, giving her all in all that she did. She was an awesome wife, mommy, nana and sister and will be missed every single day.

Services for Diana were Thursday, May 22, at Moore Funeral and Cremation chapel. Interment followed at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
