MOORE — Robert Charles Webster, 71, of Moore, died Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013. He was born April 30, 1942, to Maurice and Orphia Webster in Rice Lake, Wis. Bob enjoyed fishing and was an avid boxing fan. He also enjoyed barbecuing with his family and friends.
Bob heard his country’s call and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1961-1969 as staff sergeant. He later became an over the road truck driver.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Kelly Nichols of Moore; son, Jason Webster of Moore; grandchildren, Kasey Webster, Ethan Nichols, Cale Whitten, Laura Whitten and Skye Mitchell; two great-grandchildren, Shelby Cook and Liliana; stepsons, James Doughty of Moore and Tim Madsen of Santa Cruz, Calif.; sisters, Kathy Culver and husband John of Arizona, Cheryl Jones and husband Ernie of Wisconsin and Jan Brown and husband Marve of Wisconsin; brothers, Jerome Webster and wife Brigette of Arizona and Eldon Webster and wife Sue of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Karin; grandson, Matthew Riley Webster; three sisters, Pat Whittenberger, Gail Morgan and Pauline.
Services were held Sept. 17 at John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel in Moore. Interment followed at Smith Cemetery in Moore.
