Even though the spring has ended, football is still in the air for Moore school. This time of the year is meant for camps and 7-on-7 passing leagues.
Southmoore will attend the University of Tulsa team Thursday-Saturday. When they get back, they will begin their 7-on-7 passing league. First games are from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. June 14 at Southmoore. Other dates include June 21 and June 28.
Westmoore is also going to the Tulsa team camp. But they were their Monday through today.
Moore traveled to Edmond Memorial for its team camp June 2. They were joined by Del City, the Bulldogs and Broken Arrow.
June 28, July 12 and July 14 the Lions and Jaguars are at Edmond Santa Fe for a 7-on-7 league. Games start at 6 p.m.
The 74th annual Oil Bowl is set for Saturday in Wichita Fall. Westmoore’s Tyler Newton is the only player from Moore to make it on the Oklahoma team.
OThe 38-player Oklahoma squad reported for practice Monday. The teams is made up of players from across the state and every class.
Reserved seats are $11 and general admission is $9 for the 7:30 p.m. Saturday game at Memorial Stadium. For more information on tickets, call 940-766-4511.
