MOORE — Mid-America Christian University head coach Robert Wakefield has announced the signing of Moore High School standout Hannah Lynch for the upcoming 2014 season.

Wakefield is very familiar with Lynch, having coached her for two seasons at MHS prior to coming to MACU for the 2012 season.

Lynch is a four-year letterwinner that earned three consecutive All-Conference honors and was an All-State performer in 2012.  She was also an All Big-City team selection in 2012 and received a Student-Athlete of the Week award in 2011.

Her performance helped the MHS Lions to four straight regional tournament titles and four consecutive state tournament appearances, including a state runner-up finish in 2012.

Off the field, Lynch was an Academic All-State honoree in 2012 and was an Honor Graduate in 2013.  She also received the high honor of Miss MHS this year.

"Hannah is a great late addition to our recruiting class," Wakefield said.  "She is a young lady that can play almost every position on the field.  Her attitude on the field and in the classroom will make her a leader on our team even though she's only a freshman.  We're so blessed to have her here."
