MOORE —

The Westmoore girls basketball team may have come up with their biggest win of the season Friday when they knocked off No. 14 Edmond Memorial 48-46 at EMH.

The combination of Kaci Richardson and Victoria lay owned the paint for the Jaguars. Richardson finished with 9 points and 13 rebounds while Lay added 7 points and 10 boards. Guard Ashley Gomez had a team high 13 points and Sydney Chastain posted 8 points and five assists.

The Lady Jags face Norman North, Midwest City and Southmoore in their next three outings.

“I want to see them step on the court with confidence,” Westmoore coach Andrea Guziac said. “We should know that we can play with all three of these teams and if we play well, we can beat all of them. I want to see our team play aggressive on both ends of the court.”
