Lookout picks up first offer

(Continued)

MOORE —

“I guess just the way I work with my team, my work ethic,” Lookout said. “It helps me a lot. And going to all these camps really got my name out. Coaches are looking for a good, tall, athletic wide receiver. I guess that I fit that profile. I’m 6-2, 180 pounds and fast.”

Lookout hasn’t made up his mind on where he wants to play college ball. However, he would like to stay as close to home if possible.

“I have my sights on trying to stay in Oklahoma, staying close to my family so they can come watch as many as they can,” Lookout said. “But if an offer comes that I can’t deny and it’s the best and they really want me, then I’m going. Oklahoma and OSU I’ve been looking at for a long time. Since I was a little kid. They used to be my two favorite teams ever. I would be glad to go there. “

The Sooners may have the inside track if they decide to pursue Lookout. His older sister, Destinee Lookout, will be a freshman on the Oklahoma softball team next year.

But Lookout can’t count out any other school at this time. If he does get more offers, he wants to do what’s best for him and his family. That could include going pro in baseball if he got drafted.

“My all time goal is to go pro,” Lookout said. “But I’d probably have to talk it over with my family. And get to know what I truly feel. If I could go pro and come back to college, that’s probably what I’d do.”
