Jaguars fall behind in district race

The Jaguars look to get back into the win column Friday when they host Sapulpa at Moore Stadium. They are currently tied with the Pirates for fourth place in the district. But since PC owns the head to head matchup, the Jags are on the outside of the postseason with three games remaining.

“We have to put it all together these next few weeks,” Langford said. “Offense, defense and special teams. All at the same time.”

HARD WEEK: For the first time this season all three area teams lost on the same day. Along with the Jaguars fallen to Jenks and Southmoore being knocked off by Norman, Moore was hammered by Yukon 35-13.

It doesn’t get any easier for the Lions (2-5, 2-2 (District 6A-3). They face Edmond North Thursday at Moore Stadium. The Huskies (6-1, 3-1) are big physical team that likes to run behind its offensive line.

The SaberCats (5-2, 2-2) travel to Edmond Friday to take on Edmond Memorial (2-5, 2-2) in District 6A-4 action.
