GolfTEC has launched its newest improvement center located in Moore. With this addition, GolfTEC has four locations in Oklahoma. Open Monday through Saturday, the center is located at 1619 S. I-35 Service Road in the Rivermoore Shopping Center south of the Warren Theatre, Moore, OK.

GolfTEC, which already has more than 180 improvement centers in North America, has given more than four million lessons since teeing off in 1995. Most lessons are taught one-on-one in private, indoor bays that maximize the learning experience. GolfTEC utilizes proprietary teaching technology and the skills of its Certified Personal Coaches to help golfers improve their skills and increase their enjoyment of the game.

The GolfTEC Moore center has opened with two hitting bays that each feature Foresight launch monitors. A third bay will be coming on soon. The center is under the direction of franchise owner David Lisle, a GolfTEC Certified Personal Coach and member of the PGA of America who is familiar with the Oklahoma golf community.

“More golfers in the Moore/Norman/Oklahoma City area now have more access to high-tech lessons, custom club-fitting and distance testing, all with the best motion sensors, video cameras and launch monitor technology,” said Lisle, who has been a golf professional in the Oklahoma area since 1976.

Prior to joining GolfTEC, Lisle was the Head golf professional at Westwood Park Golf Course in Norman and Lincoln Park Golf Course in Oklahoma City. He worked at Quail Creek as an assistant professional prior to that.

The GolfTEC facility, which also features a practice putting green, will offer a wide variety of services, from lesson programs to Personal Club Fitting, all in a controlled environment.

GolfTEC’s proprietary g-SWING system combines digital video with motion measurement, capturing body positions at 24 different points throughout the swing. A simple RED-YELLOW-GREEN display guides instruction and reinforces swing changes.
