Police are investigating after finding two people with knife wounds dead on Sunday in a southeast Norman home.

Norman police responded to 3417 Madra Street around 3:45 p.m. in reference to an "officer needed nature unknown" 911 call. When officers arrived they were met by a juvenile who told them his brother and brother's girlfriend had been in a confrontation inside the home.

When officers entered the house they found the male and female deceased, apparently from knife wounds. The evidence at the scene indicates that the male attacked the female with a knife and then turned the weapon on himself.

The case remains under investigation by the Norman Police Criminal Investigations Division and the Office of the State Medical Examiner.
