MOORE — The son of the victim in a suspected homicide is wanted for questioning by Moore police.
Jacob Barber, 21, is considered a person of interest in the death of his father, Glenn, who was found in his home by a family member on Sunday, according to Moore Police Department Sgt. Jeremy Lewis. While police are unsure if Jacob Barber is armed, Lewis said anyone who knows where he is should not try to contact him but instead call police.
“They need to call the police department,” Lewis said. “I wouldn’t approach him.”
It is possible Barber is driving a 2007 white Nissan Pathfinder with license plate JBW904, which belongs to his father.
Lewis said Glenn Barber, 48, was found dead in his home at 208 N. Morgan, in which he lived with Jacob, on Sunday. Investigators suspect he died sometime between midnight and noon.
Moore police initially appealed for information on Jacob’s whereabouts on Sunday afternoon.
Jacob Barber is described as a while male, 6-feet tall and approximately 175 pounds with green eyes. He was last photographed with facial hair, but is now possibly clean-shaven, according to MPD.
Anyone who knows of Jacob Barber’s whereabouts is asked to contact Moore Police Department at 405-793-5171.
