Veterans compete in domino tournament

OKLAHOMA CITY — Teams representing the state’s 7 Veterans Centers will face off beginning at 9:30 a.m. today in this year’s annual Governor’s Domino Tournament. Each year, the Oklahoma Veterans Centers host tournaments that ultimately crown a champion Veteran domino team from each Center. Those teams then face off in a one-day competition at the State Capitol. The winning team will then go on to compete against the duo of Governor George Nigh and his partner. Governor Nigh started this annual tournament over 30 years ago.

The Governor’s Domino Tournament will be held in the Blue Room at the State Capitol beginning at 9:30 a.m.
