NORMAN, Okla. — A woman arrested by Norman police in connection with a Tuesday stabbing has confessed, according to NPD.
Allison Cometsevah, 30, confessed to killing a man Tuesday afternoon at an apartment in the 900 block of 24th Ave. SW after investigators completed an interview with her regarding her role in the murder.
Cometsevah had called police to turn herself in. She was booked into the Cleveland County jail on a complaint of first degree murder.
The investigation remains ongoing, and the victim's identity is being withheld pending a positive identification by the Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office, according to police. NPD said early indications are that Cometsevah and the victim had only recently met.
Cometsevah has previously been arrested for numerous moving violations, including driving while intoxicated and driving with a suspended license, as well as multiple charges of possession of a dangerous substance.
