OKLAHOMA CITY — A deeply divided Legislature gathered Tuesday for the first official day of session as debate continued to rage over what precautions should be taken in the Capitol to slow the spread of COVID-19.

One year after the Women’s March that saw millions of people protest across the country to advocate for women’s rights and a variety of other social issues, protestors again took to the streets Sunday to express their disapproval of President Donald Trump’s social policies and systemic misogyny.

Lifelong learning is a wonderful thing and our flagship university - obviously I’m referring to OU - offers a myriad of opportunities for citizens of all ages to do just that. One such program available to folks of a certain age functions within University Outreach. I’ve been lucky enough to both lead a few of these courses while also enrolling as a student in many others. Without exception I’ve enjoyed each one.
