· Fastpitch camp on tap
The 2011 Moore-Norman Fastpitch Camp will be held from 9 a.m. to Noon, June 7-10 at the Reaves park Softball Complex in Norman. Camp staff will include Southmoore’s Jeff Small, Norman’s Tim Gonzales, Westmoore’s Steve Schwarz, Norman North’s Carol Testa and Moore’s Robert Wakefield.
The camp is for incoming third grade up through eight grade. It will focus on the fundamentals of softball, throwing, fielding and hitting skills.

· MHS hoop camp
The Moore High girls basketball team will host the Lady Lions basketball Summer Skills Camp June 1-June 3 at the MHS gymnasium. It’s for girls completing grades 3rd-7th and will run from 8-11 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday and from 8-10 a.m. on Friday.

· Lady Jags camp
The Westmoore girls basketball team is hosting “Let’s Get Back To The Basics,” a basketball camp for girls in grades 3rd through ninth. It will run June 6-9 at WMHS.
The camp is split into two sessions. From 9 a.m. to noon, third through sixth grade will be on the court and from 1 to 4 p.m., is set for sixth through ninth grade. Sixth graders may attend either camp depending on experience and skill level.
The purpose of the camp is to teach the fundamentals of basketball, give players the opportunity to learn in a positive, relaxed atmosphere, provide one-on-one instructions to each athlete and have fun and enjoy a great week of basketball.
There will be competitions throughout the week and campers will have the opportunity to win awards. Final competitions will be performed on the last day of camp beginning at 11 am followed by an awards ceremony.

The Moore High Lady Lions will go through the 5th Annual All Sports Summer Pride Sessions Speed and Agility Camp July 5-28 at the MHS gymnasium.
The program is designed for athletes of all ages and any sport. Coaches will implement the basics of a nationwide speed and agility program. The goal is to improve the overall girls athletic programs at Moore.
